POTSDAM: National Day of Service to honor local emergency workers and law enforcement personnel, 6 p.m., West Potsdam Fire Hall, 45 Blanchard Rd.; speakers representing SLCES emergency services, local police and sheriff’s departments, fire departments and rescue squads; refreshments provided by the Auxiliary; 50/50 drawing will help support the local Chapter 2831 of AARP; free and open-to-the community; RSVP is required by Sept. 5 for those planning to attend: 315-265-6705, 315-265-2127, [email protected].
