CANTON: University Chorus spring concert celebrating Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Dolly Parton, 8 p.m., Pickens Hall and General Store, located at 83 North State Street in Heuvelton; free, open to public; led by Barry Torres, director of St. Lawrence University music ensembles, the concert will perform Carole King’s “You’ve Got a Friend,” “I Feel the Earth Move,” “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow,” “One Fine Day;” Joni Mitchell’s “Blue,” “Conversation,” and “Circle Game;” and Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Nine to Five,” “Light of a Clear Blue Morning;” soloists will include Jennifer Blewett from Canton, Rebecca MacDougall from Colton, Beth Dixon and Sylvia Nentwick from Gouverneur, and Trinity Robin from Potsdam.
