Barn Quilt reception

CANTON: TAUNY invites the community to the opening reception for the organization’s next major exhibition, “St. Lawrence County Barn Quilts,” 1-3 p.m., The TAUNY Center; exhibition features varied and vibrant barn quilts and related projects as well as the people, projects, and stories that help make up the growing barn quilt movement in St. Lawrence County; opening at the same time will be the “Folkstore Artist Spotlight: Barn Quilts and Beyond,” in which barn quilts and an array of related works will be available for sale throughout the time the exhibition is up.

Cornhole tourney

NORWOOD: Norwood-Norfolk Class of 2020 sponsoring a Cornhole Tournament, starting at 1 p.m. at the Norwood American Legion, 10 Maple St.; 2 player teams, double elimination games to 21 points; $30 per team; winner receives a corn hole set; raffles, snacks; register with Danielle Lenney 315-323-2988; benefits the all night drug and alcohol-free party.

Trivia night

Judy Garland biopic

MASSENA: Saturday afternoon at the Movies: “Judy;” biographical drama about American singer/actress Judy Garland, starring Renee Zellweger; free, including popcorn and beverage; 1 p.m; Massena Public Library.

College juried exhibition

OGDENSBURG: Frederic Remington Art Museum’s 2020 College Student Juried Art Exhibition will open with a free public reception, 2-4 p.m.; public is invited to come and meet the artists at the reception, see their work, and tour the Museum; open to students at four area colleges and universities: Clarkson University, St. Lawrence University, SUNY Plattsburgh, and SUNY Potsdam; includes 50 works, many for sale, third of proceeds benefit museum, two-thirds go to artists; on display until March 29.

Hormone Madness
