POTSDAM: Crane School of Music faculty recital by Shelly Tramposh and friends, titled “La Viola,” 7:30 p.m., Snell Theater; will include works by Rebecca Clarke, Hilary Tann, Andrea Reinkemeyer, Libby Larsen and Jennifer Higdon; will be joined by Colleen Skull, soprano; Anna Hendrickson, oboe; Julianne Kirk Doyle, clarinet; Laura Matthews, viola; Liesl Schoenberger Doty, violin, and Tracy Lipke-Perry, piano.

WORKSHOPS, PROGRAMS

Gluten-free cooking

CANTON: Food writer and avid cook Paul Graham will offer a series of three gluten-free cooking classes in March at the Harvest Kitchen at the Extension Learning Farm, 2043 State Highway 68, each course in “A World of Gluten Free Flavor” will focus on how to use a naturally gluten-free grain: chickpeas, buckwheat, and corn; 6-8 p.m., and includes making and sampling the evening’s dishes along with recipes to take home; classes: Cooking with Chickpeas, March 2, Cooking with Buckwheat, March 16, Cooking with Corn, March 30; each $20, pre-registration required: stlawrence.cce.cornell.edu, 315-379-9192, ext. 240, harvestkitchen@cornell.edu.
