POTSDAM: West Potsdam NY Volunteer Fire Department will hold it's fall gun show fundraiser, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., West Potsdam Bingo Hall, 45 Blanchard Rd.; gun raffle, food & beverage; admission $5, 12 and under free.

Poker Run

OGDENSBURG: VFW Post 2936, 1112 Champlain St., hosting Miachel Alguire Memorial Poker Run; proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Military and Veteran Suicide Prevention; register at 9 a.m., kickstands up at 11 a.m.; cost is $15 per bike, $5 per passenger and $5 for the poker hand; food, raffles and music by The Fulton Road Band; all welcome; 315-713-4477, vfwpost2936@gmail.com.

Skate with a Knight

POTSDAM: Clarkson University Women's Hockey Team Skate with a Knight, Cheel Arena, about 5:15 p.m. after Syracuse game 5: Autographs, photos. Free, public welcome.

Walk With a Doc

MASSENA: Massena Memorial Hospital will host a “Walk with a Doc” event at Massena Central High and Nightengale Schools, on the John Story Trail, with the start location being near the Nightengale School staff parking lot; 10 am, with handouts and refreshments available for walkers; Dr. Kejian Tang, neurologist, Dr. Sunny Patel, pediatrician, Katie Daigneault, physician assistant, Erika Thompson, physician assistant and Krista Francis, nurse practitioner, will attend; info: 315-769-4262.

Youth pheasant hunt

LISBON: Youth pheasant hunt, 7 a.m.-noon, St. Lawrence Valley Sportsmen’s property, 25 Sports Club Rd.; hosted by River Valley Gun Dog Club, with the St. Lawrence Valley Sportsman’s Club and Black Lake Fish and Game Club; open to the first 40 young hunters, girls and boys, ages 12 to 15 years old; participants must pre-register and have a valid 2019 small game license; each hunter will have an opportunity to harvest two pheasants, hunting with guides and handling trained bird hunting dogs; register: Larry Kring at kring630@twcny.rr.com or 315-323-2107.
