COLTON: Annual Colton Winterfest begins, “Rockin’ in the Great South Woods; silent auctions, quilt show, remembrance trees, open skating; https://www.townofcolton.com/winterfest.htm l; 4:30-7:30 p.m. modified basketball games, CPCS vs Norwood-Norfolk Central School, Boys Modified at 4:30 p.m., Girls Modified immediately after, at CPCS Gymnasium; 3-6:30 p.m. baked potato dinner at CPCS with choice of toppings, tossed salad, drink, and dessert, take-outs available, $8 adults, $6 students and seniors; 7-8:30 p.m. trivia night at Higley Flow State Park Trails Lodge.

POTSDAM: St. Lawrence County Arts Council will hold a meet-the-artist event, 4-6 p.m., SLC Arts Gallery at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St., featuring artist Kevin Beary of Colton and an exhibit of his work; known for his paintings in Italy, where he exhibited in and around Florence; 5 p.m. discussion; free, open to all, wheelchair accessible; exhibit on display until March 6.
