VFW 5k Walk/Run
OGDENSBURG -5k walk/run; 9:30 a.m.; Dobisky Center, 100 Riverside Ave.; raise money for Veteran's Day; registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the event is sponsored by the VFW; walk will be along the Maple City Trail. T-shirts, medals and door prizes will be awarded; all proceeds will be used to purchase flags and wreaths for Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at Groulx Park; $18 for those who preregister by calling 315-393-7904; cost is $25 race day.
