Evening of Schubert
POTSDAM: An evening of chamber works by Franz Schubert, 7:30 p.m., Snell Theater; will feature Schubert's set of variations for piano and flute, based on "Trockne Blumen (Withered Flowers)," the 18th song from his song cycle "Die Schöne Müllerin (The Pretty Miller Girl)," Schubert's "Sonata for Piano and Violin in A-Major," also known as the "Grand Duo;” performers include Yoojung Kim (piano), Liesl Schoenberger Doty (violin), Donald George (tenor) and Jill Rubio (flute); free, and the public is invited to attend.
10 Hairy Legs
POTSDAM: Male dance repertory company 10 Hairy Legs, 7:30 p.m., Proscenium Theatre, located in the SUNY Potsdam Performing Arts Center; $15 for general admission, $10 for SUNY Potsdam students, faculty and staff, and $5 for senior citizens and youth. Tickets will be available at the door and can be reserved in advance by calling the Community Performance Series Box Office at (315) 267-2277. Tickets will also be for sale at the door.
