POTSDAM -- A local We The People Solidarity March is planned for Potsdam on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
The local demonstration coordinates with similar marches being held nationwide by the national We The People group "to demand accountability from elected officials," event organizers said.
The march will begin at Potsdam High School, 29 Leroy St., travel down Leroy Street to Elm Street for a brief rally on that corner. Marchers will then continue down Elm to rally in front of Potsdam town hall, then march to Market Street rallying on that corner.
Marchers will continue up Market Street to rally across from Five Guys, then continue up Market Street to Cottage Street back to the high school.
Anyone who cannot march the full route is invited to join the group at any of the rally points.
There will be voter registration following the march.
