WADDINGTON -- In light of the current situation, all 2020 Waddington Concert Series summer concerts have been rescheduled to summer 2021.
This decision comes after much consideration and the awareness of cancelations/postponements of most other similar large crowd events, said a press release from organizers. Keeping community safety in mind is our top priority, the organizers said.
"Waddington Concert Series extends a heartfelt thank you to the performers, sponsors, patrons, donors and fans for their support, understanding and flexibility during this time of uncertainty. Our talented musicians have graciously consented to entertain next summer and most of our sponsors have generously agreed to sponsor next year's concerts," said the press release.
The 2021 Waddington Concert Series schedule:
• June 18 opening concert with The Cadleys;
• July 2 Fritz's Polka Band;
• July 9 Chippewa Breeze Band playing "oldies” and classic rock music;
• July 16 Double Axel;
• July 30 dedication concert with Double Trouble and Steelin' Country;
• Aug. 6 SFM (formerly Six Foot Midget), 4-hour concert/block-dance in conjunction with Waddington Homecoming;
