Town reopens Lisbon Campground; only self-contained campers allowed

LISBON -- The Town of Lisbon opened the Lisbon Campground on Friday, May 15.

The town will strictly adhere to the Governor's orders on reopening of businesses.

In addition, the town is following the CDC reopening Guidance Document for Cleaning and Disinfecting public spaces, using EPA approved disinfectants to disinfect surfaces, and following shared best practices with other campgrounds.

The campground will practice the strictest protocols for sanitation, disinfection, and social distancing to ensure the protection for all that use our facilities.

Each camper will receive a set of rules and regulations when they arrive that must be strictly adhered to, and will be enforced.

The town is phasing in the reopening. At this time, only self-contained units will be allowed into the park, with no tenting or non-self-contained campers allowed.

The bath house will be open by June 1, and non self-contained units will be accepted then. The beach, basketball and tennis courts, playground, all picnic areas, and the pavilion will remain closed. The walking trail and boat launch are open.
