CANCELLED -- 'The Tortoise Versus The Hare' presentation in Ogdensburg Saturday

OGDENSBURG --The OCP-sponsored performance of "The Tortoise Versus the Hare" has been CANCELLED.

Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an old favorite Saturday, March 14 when Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 40 local students present “The Tortoise Versus The Hare.”

Playing the title characters, Coach Shelley Bowlback and Curly Hare, are Kayleigh Chevrier and Peighton Parmer.

Other featured characters include Amira Mallette as Esther Bunny, Leah Pike as Little Bonnie Bunny, and the Weasels played by Chloe Frank and Jamie Furgison.

The Ferrets will be played by Jackson Duprey, Caelum Rider, and Georgianna Wells.

The Reptiles will be played by Aubrey Cushman, June Demers, Caleb Devanney, Adrianna Halpin, Sophia Halpin, Kenzie Phillips, Emilyn Shaver, and Brielle Wallace.

The TV Crew will be Lauren Bouchard, Abigail LaRose, and Alaylah Mallette with Tanner Knapp, Jayden Salazar, and Olivia Sias playing the Stagehands.

The Curly Hare Fan Club will be played by Rozalyn Dwyer, Colbie Frank, Emmy Lowry, Maree-Anna Roddy, Maria Sawyer, and Kendall Scholfell.

Kaydence Ashley, Sophie Barr, Abby Bateman, Temperance Cota, Delaney Merna, Hannah Mousaw, and Blair Reynolds play Curly’s Posse.

The Thespian Troupe includes Mairin King as Alfred, Brooke Irvine as Nigel, Khloie Watson as Basil, Brinlee Geary as Farnsworth, and Braelyn Frison as Welsley.

Performances of “The Tortoise Versus The Hare” will be presented at 3 and 5:30 in George Hall Auditorium at Ogdensburg Free Academy.

Tickets, $6 for adults, $4 for children under 12 years of age, and free for preschoolers, are available for purchase online at ILoveTheatre.org, by phone 315.393.2625 or at the door.
