POTSDAM – The 12th annual motorcycle run to benefit Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley will leave from Ton's Sports Bar on Saturday, July 30 at 11 a.m.
The eleven previous rides have raised over $40,000.
The ride will take place rain or shine and is again sponsored by Roger "Porky" Willmart, his wife Linda and many friends and family.
The 2011 route is about 100 miles long.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Ton's Free coffee and doughnuts will be served.
After the ride, a roast beef dinner and 50/50 raffle will take place at Ton’s. Also planned are the drawing for winners of many door prizes donated by county merchants and announcement of the winner of the poker run.
Registration and dinner is $15 for bike and rider with an additional $5 charge for a passenger.
Cost for participating in the poker run is $5 per hand. The roast beef dinner after the ride is only $10.
