POTSDAM -- The North Country Children’s Museum Summer Day Camps run Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and offer kids two hands-on educational camps to choose from.
Both camps are housed at the new museum location at 10 Raymond St. in downtown Potsdam.
The Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) Camp will explore scientific concepts through hands-on activities and experimentation.
Campers will work together with NCCM educators to develop and test hypotheses in a variety of topics, including: robotics, physics, circuitry, energy, scientific methodology, coding and much more.
Dates for STEAM Camp are July 16-30 and July 30-Aug. 3.
ECOLAB is a week-long exploration of the intertwines webs of life that exist in nature. Through hands-on studies, campers will learn to recognize integral connections between all things and their own place in that system.
Areas of focus will include: stream studies, macroinvertebrates, sustainability, renewable resources, astronomy and other topics.
