POTSDAM – The second annual Fantasy Faire, celebrating the mythical and mystical, will take place July 27 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in Ives Park.

There will be carnival games, music, artisans, a dunking booth donated by Parishville Amvets, crafters, live entertainment, metaphysical mysteries, psychics, food and more.

Attendees are invited to attend in costume for a costume contest.

A Madd Hatter Cupcake Soiree featuring Elaine Kuricina will be held from 10:30-11:15 a.m.; tickets are $5 per child. The soiree will include games, crafts, snacks, entertainment and a take home souvenir.

The band Merryweather will play music, and Richard Tenace will perform his magic show.

Parking is free for the event and Dan’s Plumbing is donating bathroom facilities.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Renewal House, and admittance is a non-perishable food item for local food pantries.

Organizers will hold a bottle drive at all local bottle redemption centers to raise funds for Renewal House. CJ’s bottle redemption will also have a truck on site at the festival that day.
