POTSDAM -- The Potsdam High School Drama Club will present “The Addams Family Musical” Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, at 7 p.m.

Tickets will cost $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.

In the kooky, upside-down world of the Addams Family, a grave crisis is stirring the pot. It is every father’s worst nightmare!

Wednesday Addams (Caroline Bergan) has grown up and fallen in love with a “normal” boy, Lucas Beineke (Connor Gray), from a simple Ohio family. Worse, the romance seems to have turned the unwavering pessimistic Addams girl downright pleasant, leaving her family very worried and distressed.

Wednesday’s mother, Morticia Addams (Louisa Moosbrugger), wants nothing more than for Lucas, his standoffish father, Mal Beineke (Cole Fayette), and his cheerful mother, Alice Beineke (Katelyn Clemons), to leave the Addams gloomy home.

As Gomez Addams (Joey Lashomb) tries to convince his wife to give the Beinekes a chance, he is thrown into a turmoil of chaos as he is forced to pick sides between his strong willed wife and his daughter.

Gomez’s brother, Fester Addams (Ryan Hayes), acts as the narrator. But Fester has a secret. He’s in love!

Pugsley Addams (Abby Hughes) isn’t so sure about this “Lucas guy”. By tricking Grandma Addams (Tonnie Reasoner), Pugsley tries to sabotage the night with disastrous results!

The faithful Addams undead butler, Lurch, is played by Tyler Triftshauser. The moon is played by Isabella Nocetti. The conquistador, caveman, saloon girl, and soldier are played by Ashwin Hillenbrand, Thomas McCabe, Emilee Smith, and Brooke Mackey, respectively.

Ensemble dancers include: Ariana Chiarenzelli, Daniela Peña, Emily Hollis, Emma O’Geen, Gracie McFadden, Halle Varney, Isabella Nocetti, Juliana Batich, Keira Moore, and Maddie Wheeler.
