OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg History Coffee Hour, a free public program for adults to share stories about growing up or working in Ogdensburg or bring an object for show and tell, will be April 13 at 10 a.m. at the Ogdensburg Public Library.

City historian and Heuvelton Central School teacher Julie Madlin will join participants to talk about Famine Irish immigration to Ogdensburg.

She will also share information about the new stops on the “Strolling Down State Street Tour.”

Created by the city historian, this program connects local authors and historians with citizens.

The coffee hour is supported by Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library, and the Northern New York Community Foundation.

For more information contact Julie Madlin at jmmadlin@gmail.com.
