CANTON — James Haywood Rolling Jr., dual professor of art education and teaching and leadership at Syracuse University, will deliver a guest lecture at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, in Griffiths Arts Center, room 123, at St. Lawrence University.
The lecture, “From Practice to Responsibility: The Pedagogical Odyssey of an Art + Design Educator,” is connected to the current art installation at the college’s Richard F. Brush Art Gallery in the Griffiths Arts Center.
Intended to be as broad and inclusive as possible, the exhibition features work by 37 tenured, visiting, and adjunct professors at each New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium institutions, including several St. Lawrence University teaching artists.
A reception will follow.
