NORWOOD – The Norwood Fire Association will host its second annual ATV/UTV Ride Saturday, Aug. 10 starting at the Firemen’s Field at 34 Morgan St.
Registration is from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Driver is $15, and passenger is $5. The ride begins at 10 a.m. Registration includes a meal at the Firemen’s Field on return.
The run takes riders from Norwood to the Timber Tavern in Parishville with a stop on the return trip at High Peaks Winery in Winthrop. About five miles of the trip each way is on roads, and the rest is on trails.
After return to Norwood there will be a bounty hole for competition, and prizes for the fastest time per class will be awarded. Entry is $5 per machine per each attempt in the bounty hole.
There will be a 50/50 and other raffles.
All proceeds benefit the association to update tools and equipment.
