NORFOLK -- A trio of vocalists, Jodi Childs, Jenny Lord, and Nicole Perry, will bring their contemporary Christian music with a touch of southern gospel to the Norfolk Green on West Main Street at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, sponsored by the Norfolk United Methodist Church.
All are invited to attend. Bring a lawn chair.
Rain location: the UMC church on West Main.
1 Voice's members are three women originally from North Bangor. The group came up with the name “1 Voice” based on the scripture verse 2 Chronicles 5:13. Their prayer is that even though there are three performers, only “one voice” is heard, the voice of God speaking to the hearts of those they minister to through the talents that God gave them.
The Norfolk UMC Choir will also perform.
