WADDINGTON – The Waddington Summer Concert Series continues Friday, July 15 with Noizafter9 performing classic rock in Island View Park.

The Friday night concerts are free and run from 7 to 9 p.m. unless otherwise noted. In case of inclement weather the concerts will be held at the Old Town Hall, Main Street. Bring a lawn chair.

NoizAftr9 is a power trio whose members are T. Mourick of Waddington NY (lead/rhythm guitar and vocals), Kirk (Madman) Pearson (bass and vocals) and Todd Brown (drums and vocals) from Massena.

The name Noizaftr9 has, over the last three years, become associated with having a good time with great music and great people. Their appeal has been largely due to the wide variety of musical genres; they perform (50's to present) mixed in with down to earth attitude and genuine love of music and entertaining.

The only requirement to attend a NoizAftr9 show is to come ready to have fun and let loose.

The Boiz from Noiz, as they have come to be known, are big on crowd interaction and making you feel like you are a part of the show. They are always up for a request, no matter what the song is. They may not know it, but if you can hum a few bars for them, they may just give it a try. Above all, the members of NoizAftr9 cherish family and friends and that is how they treat each other and the people who attend their shows. The members of the band say that is the main reason for their small measure of success here in the North Country. "The people that come to our shows may come as strangers, but leave as friends. Music is a common ground for us all."

Future concerts in the series include:

• July 22: Charlton Brothers - modern day and traditional country hits, classic rock and roll.

• July 29: Scott Shipley - folk and indie rock.

• Aug. 12: The Starlight - nine decades of music including Glenn Miller, Ink Spots, Lawrence Welk, Patsy Cline, Elvis.

• Aug. 19: Sweet Adelines and Canton Goldenaires - 6-8 p.m., four-part harmony, a cappella music and barbershop singing.

• Aug. 26: Acoustic Brothers - 6-8 p.m., classic rock, oldies.

• Sept. 2: Client 9 - 6-8 p.m., classic rock and country.

The Waddington Summer Concert Series is made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts - Decentralization Program, administered in Jefferson, Lewis, and St Lawrence Counties by the St Lawrence County Arts Council. This show is also co-sponsored by Art's Used Cars and Patron: KT Power.
