POTSDAM -- Dr. Robert Agnetta and staff announce the opening of the new Potsdam Orthodontics location at 15 Pierrepont Ave. and of an open house from 3 to 8 p.m. April 30.

The address has been an orthodontic office for 35-plus years, but the office itself has been thoroughly renovated and brings a crisp, new feeling to the location.

The open house is to be held in conjunction with the community centers and food pantries of St. Lawrence County. Agnetta says he wants to be a participating member of this community and as such will use his open house to benefit the cause. For every person that attends this open house, Agnetta will donate $1 to the cause, and for every person that donates funds to the food pantry, he will match their contributions up to $5 each. A representative of the community center will attend.

Dr. Agnetta has moved from St. Lawrence Oral Surgery after three years there and seven years in Watertown before that. Before that, he and his wife raised their children while he practiced in Boise Idaho.

Agnetta has practiced orthodontics exclusively for the past 20 years and is excited about advances in his profession. Along with traditional braces, Agnetta has received additional training in aligner treatments, as well as a treatment modality known as SureSmile that makes use of AI along with robotically bent wires for a more precise and efficient treatment time and finishes.
