SOUTH COLTON — This year’s annual Murder Mystery Dinner entitled “Murder on Route 56” is one of the fundraising activities presented by The Sunday Rock Legacy Project (SRLP).

It takes place June 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Robideau’s Mahogany Ridge Bar and Grill, 3927 SH 56.

There isn’t any pressure to be involved. During the performance and while dinner is served, the actors circulate among the patrons in character and answer any questions the patrons have. That is designed to help the mystery goers decide who pulled off the murder. At the end of the evening, patrons vote for the person they think performed the murder, and any who make the correct identification win a prize and the admiration of the crowd.

As part of SRLP’s 2018 summer theme Get Your Kicks on Route 56, the dinner will again feature actors from the Grasse River Players.

Mystery goers will enjoy an elegant dinner (entrée choices include chicken cordon bleu, pork tenderloin, pasta primavera, or maple salmon, bread basket, potatoes, a vegetable, salad, dessert, and coffee & tea with the entertainment for $40 which includes tax and gratuities.

A cash bar is also available.

Reservations to this event are a must since only 50 seats are available. Ticket info, 315-274-0351.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The restaurant is handicapped accessible.

Also available at the murder mystery will be raffle tickets for a quilt donated by Patty Blickwedehl based on this summer’s theme.
