MORRISTOWN – The Gateway Museum, in collaboration with the Morristown Public Library, will hold a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 8 at the museum, Main Street.
Doors open at 10 a.m. for “How the People Honor the Generations” with Native American presenter Richard Salazar, of Gansevoort, N.Y.
Salazar will share songs, tales and myths of the Iroquois.
At 11 a.m. on the first floor of the museum there will be face painting, pumpkin painting, a ring toss, bake sale and horse-drawn rides.
From 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., guests may purchase a soup and sandwich lunch at $5 for adults and $3 for children.
Free-will offerings for all other events are always greatly appreciated.
