MASSENA -- Steelin' Country will perform Saturday, July 21, from 6-10 p.m. for a dance hosted by the Massena Senior Citizens at 61 Beach Street in the community center.
The Lisbon-based group consists of Kirk Robinson on pedal steel guitar, Michelle Robinson on vocals and guitar, Terry Robinson on guitar, Josh Barkley on bass and keyboards, and Alex Hammond on percussion and vocals. Special guest performer Dale Planty of Norwood will join the band.
The band plays "real country" music from the past, along with several original compositions. Copies of their classic-country album, “Songs Mama Loved,” featuring original and cover songs, will be available.
There will be food available, with the kitchen opening at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for those over 18.
