POTSDAM -- “Manufacturing Day” will be celebrated in the North Country Oct. 4 with events running from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Local manufacturers will give presentations showing the importance of manufacturing, the skills needed to support it, programs to address those needs, and a discussion panel featuring insights from area businesses.
Lunch and transportation to the tour sites will be provided.
Event sponsors and partners for the region include: Alcoa, CITEC Business Solutions, Clarkson University, ETS Staffing, North Country STEM Learning Network, St. Lawrence County IDA, and the Workforce Investment Board St. Lawrence County.
The event is free but registration is required by Oct. 1.
