MADRID -- Madrid-Waddington Elementary School is holding universal pre-kindergarten and kindergarten registration for next year’s fall 2019 classes on Thursday, March 21 from 6-7 p.m. and Friday, March 22, from 9-11 a.m.
Those who want to register can also call Mrs. Young at 315-322-5746 ext. 201.
All those who pre-registered will be contacted with registration information, said a press release from the school.
To be eligible for UPK, a child must be a district resident and be 4 years old on or before Dec. 1.
To be eligible for kindergarten a child must be a district resident and be 5 years old on or before Dec. 1.
UPK is available to all district families with eligible children.
The morning program runs from 8:30 to 11:15 a.m. and the afternoon program is from 12:30 to 3:10 p.m.
Kindergarten is a full day 8:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
Students in the current UPK program do not need to register for kindergarten.
