LOUISVILLE – The Louisville Summer Bash will be held Friday through Sunday, Aug. 12-14 with a parade, a pig roast, bed races and fireworks.
The weekend will kick off at 6 p.m. Friday at the Louisville Fire Station #1, CR 39 & 36, with an ice cream social and Lion’s Club duck race.
On Saturday, the parade will begin at 10 a.m. on County Rt. 39, followed by a chicken barbecue at 11 a.m., firemen’s drills at 1 p.m. and a pig roast at 5 p.m.
Craft vendors, concessions, and a bounce house will be set up.
There will also be bed races and a barbecue cook-off. Ken Beckstead will DJ at 5 p.m.
Saturday night there will be fireworks at dusk.
An ecumenical church service will be held Sunday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 11 a.m., followed by a town picnic at the community center at noon.
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided, but attendees are asked to bring side dishes.
