POTSDAM -- The Crane Latin Ensemble will present a program of Afro-Cuban dance music Friday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. at SUNY Potsdam's Sara M. Snell Music Theater.
Poet and SUNY Potsdam Professor Oscar Sarmiento will also read selected poems during the performance.
The music program will include pieces in traditional styles, such as Mambo, Cha-Cha, and Cuban Son, as well as contemporary Latin Jazz.
The group is preparing to depart for a week-long cultural exchange in Cienfuegos, Cuba.
This concert is free, and the public is invited to attend.
