POTSDAM – In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the publication of the classic novel, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” the Potsdam Charity Classic and Inspirational Film Series will show the 1962 movie Friday, Aug. 20, starting at 7 p.m. at North Country Community Church.
Although no admission is charged, a charity is chosen each month and all donations are directed to that organization. This month's charity is Boy Scout Troop 77.
Refreshments will be available for purchase to benefit Potsdam's Boy Scout Troop 77. The church building is located at 97 Elm St. (Rt. 11B) in Potsdam.
