Hospice hosting 'Cutting Edge Dueling Pianos' on June 1 in Potsdam
POTSDAM -- Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley will once again host Cutting Edge Dueling Pianos of Baltimore, Md. at the Cheel Campus Center, Clarkson University on Friday, June 1.
“Last year’s event was an overwhelming success, we knew we had to bring it back” said Kellie Hitchman, Director of Development and Community Relations for Hospice. “Our audience of 350 guests had a blast. Events like this are extremely unique in the north country. We are so pleased to be able to offer a great night of entertainment to our community in support of our services.”Rather than a concert type of atmosphere, this is a fully interactive experience for the audience.
Whether its 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s or current, rap, country, or rock and roll, the performers know virtually any song that comes to mind.
Attendees make requests which steers the direction of the show and comedy is incorporated from the first note until the show ends.
Whether it’s a date night, girls night out or a group of friends getting together, adults of all ages are sure to enjoy this event.

“We are extremely excited to bring this event back to our community” said Kellie Hitchman. “Community support is essential to the care provided to our patients and their families and the many programs we offer to those who experience illness and loss. This is an extremely fun way to support Hospice and those we serve.”
