LAKE PLACID – The Lake Placid Center for the Arts welcomes back the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, one of the longest running big bands in the world Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m.
Trombonist Larry O'Brien is the orchestra's present musical director.
Tickets are $22 and can be purchased at the LPCA Box Office or by calling 518-523-2512.
The 19-member band continues to play many of the original Miller arrangements that keep exciting fans who have not heard them played for a while.
Additionally, they are also playing more modern selections in the big-band style.
