MASSENA -- The New York Power Authority will continue its free “Friday Matinees” in March with showings of contemporary movies at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center.
Movies will be shown in the visitor’s center auditorium every Friday at 1:30 p.m. Free popcorn will be available.
The March schedule includes:
• March 15: “Out of Africa” (1985). A strong-willed woman who runs a coffee plantation in Kenya finds herself falling in love with the land, its people and a mysterious hunter.
• March 22: “Now and Then” (1999). A poignant look at girlhood friendships and how one summer set in motion the adult lives of four remarkable women.
