NORWOOD -- The first Norwood Beach Duathlon event of the summer is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18.
Registration begins at 5:45 p.m. and the race begins at 6:30 p.m. It is $15 for all three races this season with a T-shirt included, or $5 per race.
All bikers must wear a helmet and anyone under the age of 18 will need a signature from a parent or guardian.
The Duathlon will only be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm or severe rain.
Proceeds will benefit the John Purvis Scholarship Fund.
The two remaining races this year are on Tuesday, July 16 and Tuesday, Aug. 20.
