TUPPER LAKE -- The North Country Innovation Hotspot Program at Clarkson’s Shipley Center and Point Positive, an angel investor group founded in Saranac Lake, are joining forces to present a day of workshops for emerging entrepreneurs and angel investors on Friday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Birch Boys Chaga, 83 Park St., Tupper Lake.

The morning will start with a tour of Birch Boys Chaga followed by a workshop designed to give participants the tools to identify all of the elements needed to start developing their idea and creating a business model.

The workshop will be followed by one-on-one coaching sessions focused on applying those tools to each participant’s idea.

After lunch, which will be provided, participants will come together again for a goal-setting workshop and additional one-on-one work designed to give participants a game plan for next steps and a sense of the resources available to help them move forward.

The day will culminate with a Practice Pitch Session during which 3-4 teams of entrepreneurs will present investment-ready pitch presentations and receive feedback from the audience followed by a Happy Hour.
