CANTON – The Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm, 2043B State Highway 68, will host an open house with activities for the whole family on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Families will learn about the many programs Cornell Cooperative Extension does for St. Lawrence County through hands-on activities and demos including food preservation, taste testing, dog and goat agility, planting plants and seeds, and craft activities.
Check out the different 4-H clubs and learn about our lambs, goat kids, and chicks. There will be food for sale from Anastasia's Bakery, The Cambodian Food Truck and Big Spoon Kitchen.
There will be a silent auction with items donated by the Best Western, Coakley’s, Sergi’s Canton and many more places from around the community.
All proceeds from the silent auction will go to support 4-H programs in St. Lawrence County.
Admission is free, with a few items you can purchase at the event.
Parking will be at Canton Central School with shuttle buses going back and forth.
