OGDENSBURG -- “I Can Feel Better,” a free six-week workshop, will be offered by Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center July 13, 20, 27 and Aug. 3, 10 and 17.
The program brings people with chronic diseases, family members, and caregivers together in a community setting to learn healthier ways to live, gain confidence and motivation to manage health,and feel more positive about life.
During the highly-interactive workshops, participants will learn how to set goals, deal with fatigue, frustration and isolation, handle stress, learn to relax, control pain, learn about healthy eating and exercise, learn how to talk to your doctor, make choices about treatment, and many more topics.
Classes will run from 2 - 4:30 p.m. in t Claxton-Hepburn conference room C on the second floor.
