CANTON -- There will be a National Bone Marrow Donor Program screening Monday, Feb. 27, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Human Services Building, second floor, 80 state Highway 310.
Organizers hope the screening will help find a bone marrow match for Bridget Chapple of Lisbon, in addition to helping others in need.
Chapple is undergoing her second round of chemotherapy at Upstate Medical in Syracuse.
She will eventually relocate to Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo for a bone marrow transplant.
Potential donors need to be between 18 and 44 years old and in good health.
