OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s Palliative Care Services has established a follow-up support group for people who are struggling over the loss of a loved one.
Bereavement support groups can decrease feelings of isolation and loneliness and provide a safe space to process feelings of grief and loss.
The Community Bereavement Support group will meet on the second Thursday of each month, beginning on May 9, from 5-7 p.m. in the Medical Center’s Hess Auditorium.
The group is facilitated by palliative care-trained nurses.
