CANTON – A benefit breakfast hosted by the Canton VFW and Auxiliary will be held for the family of the late Susan Freego Gibbons on March 15 from 8 a.m.-noon at the post.
Gibbons, who was being treated for cancer, died Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The menu will include scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, home fries, pancakes, toast, muffins, juice and coffee or tea for $9.
All proceeds from the event will go to the family of Susan Freego Gibbons, the daughter of John and Diana Cota-Freego, to help with her remaining expenses.
