CANTON — At the monthly gathering of the Bees & Beekeeping Discussion Group Wednesday, March 29 at 7 p.m., longtime beekeeper Don Matheson of LaFargeville will demonstrate how to install "package" bees and nucleus colonies into the frames of a beehive on.
In order to stock new hives and replenish old ones, the Local Living Venture coordinates an annual bulk co-op order for "package bees" and nucleus colonies, which will begin arriving in April. The meeting takes place in the Betty Evans Community Room in the E.J. Noble Medical Bldg., 80 E. Main St.
