POTSDAM -- Two spectators will have a chance to win a 40-inch flat screen television as part of SUNY Potsdam’s 13th “Bear Pride Night” on Friday, Jan. 27.
The first game features the men’s basketball team as they take on New Paltz at 5:30 p.m. The men’s ice hockey game follows at 7 p.m. as they will play against Fredonia. The women’s basketball team will then take on New Paltz at 7:30 p.m.
Potsdam Sears, SUBWAY and Great Northern Printing will team up with the Bears for several giveaways and promotions that will take place throughout the evening.
During the men's basketball halftime and second intermission of the men's hockey game, spectators will face off in the "Sears Shootout", with winners going home with a new flat screen television.
Admission is free for all alumni and their families by visiting the Alumni Relations table in the Maxcy Hall lobby. Bear alums can also reconnect with friends in the hospitality room during the games as well.
Admission also is free for all area high school students who wear their school colors. There will also be door prizes and face painting.
