POTSDAM -- The American Red Cross of Northern New York is offering First Aid training from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Red Cross office at 73 Market St.
The course will teach individuals how to identify and respond to emergency situations by checking to see if it is safe to intervene; how to reduce the risk of injury; in an emergency, help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.
The instructor is Ellen MacMaster The course fee is $70.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are required by Wednesday, Dec. 14.
