POTSDAM – The book discussion group sponsored by the St. Lawrence County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be discussing “Still Alice” by Lisa Genova on Wednesday Jan. 12, at noon at the Potsdam Library.
In her debut novel, Genova, a neuroscientist, uses her years of experience in her field to relate the fictional story of Alice Howland. The heroine is diagnosed with Early Onset of Alzheimer Disease (EOAD) at age 50.
The book for discussion next month, Feb. 9 is “Breaking Out of Bedlam: A Novel” by Leslie Larson. For more information, call 265-7230.
