COLTON -- The Racquette Valley Fish and Game Club hosts their 20th annual ice fishing derby Saturday, Feb. 15 at Higley Flow in Colton on Big Bay, Cottage Road, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be prizes and door prizes. Entry fee is $15 for adults and youth.
No fishing license is required as this is NYS Free Weekend. This is a “catch-and-release” tournament and the fish must be alive. All DEC laws apply.
Contestants can pre-register at Boyce's in South Colton or Hannawa Country Store until 9 p.m. Friday. Same day registration is at the club, 233 Coldbrook Dr., and tickets are available there from 7 to 9 a.m.
