CANTON -- Deep Root Center for Self-Directed Learning (DRC), located at 7 Main Street, 2nd floor in Canton, has received a $250 grant from Wal-Mart.
The funds will be used to purchase art and craft supplies for the center’s hands-on projects, as well as ingredients for on-going cooking classes, said a press release from Deep Root.
The center provides the facilities, environment, resources, and support for young people who have interests and goals that are not being met by their current educational environment.
