CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency has created a listing of local, state, and federal resources available for businesses during the current economic slowdown brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
The listing is available at the agency’s website, www.slcida.com, and will be updated as more informational and assistance resources become available.
Businesses and employers can reach out to the IDA directly by calling 315-379-9806 or emailing info@slcida.com to discuss their specific business situations and to learn about any assistance programs or services.
“The efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus, along with the general uncertainty and upheaval in the global economy, are going to have an economic impact in the county. While there may not currently be a specific program that helps every business, as this situation progresses, more information and resources will likely become available. Our goal is to make sure that the local businesses and industries impacted are informed and have access to as many resources as possible to assist them,” IDA CEO Pat Kelly said in a prepared statement.
