POTSDAM – St. Lawrence Health System (SLHS) is hoping to fill more than 100 positions through job fairs in Potsdam and Gouverneur Friday, May 11.

SLHS continues to grow and is recruiting for clinical, non-clinical and volunteer positions at two career fairs that will coincide with National Hospital Week and National Nursing Week.

The Canton-Potsdam Hospital (CPH) Career Fair is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 11 at the Helen Snell Cheel Medical Campus, 49 Lawrence Ave., Potsdam.

CPH seeks to fill a wide range of positions, including registered nurses (RN), nurse aides (NA), ward clerks, licensed practical nurses (LPN) and clerical personnel. Those interested in positions at CPH should take a look at the job opportunities available in postings at cphospital.org.

The Gouverneur Hospital Career Fair is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 11 in the Community Room at Gouverneur Hospital, 77 Barney Street.

GH is hiring for muliple positions, including: RNs, LPNs, and clinical nursing assistants (CNA), as well as EVS (Plant Operations). Those interested in positions at Gouverneur Hospital should take a look at the job opportunities listed on their website, gvnrhospital.org.

“These fairs are a great opportunity to meet our recruiters in person,” said SLHS Vice President of Human Resources Michael Katz. “We need to fill more than 100 positions between the two hospitals,” he said.

SLHS says it offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefit packages, and for select clinical positions, sign-on bonuses.

Attendees should bring their resumes and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.

Those with questions about the job fairs can contact Cynthia Cassell at (315) 261-5455 or ccassell@cphospital.org.
