Slic Network Solutions, based in Nicholville, is offering free standard installs for parents with students at home from school and for those who are temporarily working from home during the epidemic.
Slic supplies internet service to a large number of residences in St. Lawrence County.
"We know there are many people who don’t have access to the web at home and we are doing our best to address the situation," said Travis Frank, an engineer with Slic, in an email to North Country This Week.
In addition the company has created a web map with its Slic Free Wifi Hotspot locations, said Frank.
