The St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency, the SUNY Canton Small Business Development Center, and the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce have been coordinating their business response activities during the COVID-19 crisis.

The three are coordinating their activities as they work together to provide the most up-to-date information and best assistance possible to the employers in St. Lawrence County.

“Regardless of business type, industry, level of experience, or specific situation, a business owner or official can reach out to any one of these three organizations for access to support from any one of them,” a news release from the three entities said.

The SBDC can be reached at 315-386-7312 or virtual appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.nyssbdc.org and clicking the “schedule an appointment” link.

The chamber and IDA each have special sections of their websites dedicated to the COVID crisis, with information available from local, state, regional, federal partners on each site regarding the crisis and available business assistance programs. Both offices are fully operational with staff working remotely.

The county chamber can be reached at www.visitstlc.com/covid-19 or by calling 315-386-4000 or by emailing at info@slcchamber.org.

Businesses and employers can reach out to the IDA by calling 315-379-9806, emailing info@slcida.com, or by visiting the IDA website at www.slcida.com, where a site is dedicated to COVID-19 information.
